To a true New Yorker the windows of a train aren't meant to be used for peeping at the scenery, but for staring at people's reflections without them realizing you are staring at them. I was messing around and snapped this picture of myself in the reflection off the train window. I thought it was kind of cute. The second shot is interesting if only because you can see the reflection of the phone cam in the upper left corner of the picture. The lens looks a lot bigger than it actually is. The third pic is only included because every picture I've posted before has been landscape, and I wanted to shake things up.

new york peepers is right....

my family lives in the burbs. used to work summers in the city. be it subway, metronorth or LIR, those black windows are all about checking people out. my favorite though...is the new york summer, a crowded subway car, and a really hot girl you have no business being near (wearing very little) who's got her arm around your head, grabbing a pole. or the rarer form of incedental lechery...the stopped short car, sending bodies flying and again, someone you have no business touching, coming crashing into you. i've seen some of the trashiest smiles imaginable after moments like that. it's pure humanity.

and uhh...your spellng of poRtraits a little off. i tried circling it in red and writing "sp" next to it like they did in grade school, but then i realized only i could see it because it was on my screen.

Well, I shouldn't be allowed to spell, ever. So don't mind not making sense at work late.
